The
OCN Blizzard have acquired the MJHL list rights to forward
Tim Hammell and forward Rick McPherson from the Winnipeg
Saints for forward Pat Power and Benji Husband.
Hammell started last season with the Blizzard but was
dealt for forward Kiel Wilgosh. Hammell had 30 goals and
53 assists combined with the Blizzard and Saints last
season. He started this season with the OHL's Erie Otters.
McPherson
had 7 goals and 6 assists in 25 games with the Saints
this season. McPherson stands 6'4, 195 lbs and is from
Churchill, Manitoba.
Going
to the Saints is forward Pat Power. Power was third in
Blizzard scoring this season with 16 goals and 42 assists.
Power was acquired earlier this season for goalie Marc
Lesage and enforcer Hans Benson as well as defenseman
Bryce Davis.
Husband
was recently acquired from the Dauphin Kings for forward
Jonathan Lawrence. He had 4 goals and 5 assists with the
Blizzard in 10 games.
